Athletes Against Alzheimers
The Hearing Center of Ohio + Athletes Against Alzheimer's
Posted August 29, 2017

The Hearing Center of Ohio has joined the fight against Alzheimer’s.  Over 48
million Americans
suffer from hearing loss, and the symptoms of untreated
hearing loss and Alzheimer’s are almost identical.  Symptoms include:

  • Withdrawal from work or social activities
  • Impaired memory
  • The inability to learn new tasks
  • Reduced alertness
  • Compromised personal safety
  • Irritability, anger, fatigue, stress, and depression

Because of this connection, we are committed to spread awareness about the importance of including a hearing evaluation as a part of your annual health routine as your hearing health contributes significantly to your overall health.  As a step to spread awareness about hearing health and Alzheimer's, The Hearing Center of Ohio paired up with Coach Earle and Jean Bruce's Athletes Against Alzheimer's Radiothon.

The Hearing Center of Ohio donated a pair of FREE Premium Hearing Aids (Retail value $11,000/MSRP $7500) to the highest donor.  People tuned into Coach Earle & Jean Bruce’s Charitable Radiothon benefiting Athletes Against Alzheimer’s and donated online.  The lucky bidder with the highest amount donated was able to receive the top of the line Starkey hearing aids.  All donations directly benefitted Alzheimer's research.

Everyone wins with better hearing and helping to end Alzheimer's.

To live better, to be healthy and happy, is what we all strive for.  At The Hearing Center of Ohio we are committed to providing better hearing through education and personalized care.  To help make a difference in the fight against Alzheimer’s, share this with a friend and call 614-626-9428 today to schedule a free hearing evaluation.  Reserve your spot today appointments fill quickly.
